I am publishing a book on Scottish club/district rugby and will include a chapter on the remarkable sevens exploits of London Scottish. I believe you hold the Middlesex 7s trophy named after Dr Russell Cargill. He died in 1949 and I know the trophy was awarded as early as 1959. I wondered if you could help find out when it was made or the earliest winners on the plinth? Many thanks.
